The DynaLantic Corp. (DLC), DynaFlight Training
Center (DTC) and CATI Training Systems, a subsidiary of DLC, in conjunction with
Philippine based Aviation Enterprises Inc. (AEI) completed Cobra AH-1F and Huey
II Flight Simulator Training for Philippine Air Force (PAF) rotary wing pilots.
The Cobra AH-1F training focused on Normal and Emergency Procedures to
enhance and sharpen the skill set of the PAF “Cobra” Instructor Pilots and active
Pilots with a syllabus covering academics, standard and advanced techniques,
catastrophic malfunctions, and NVG flight. The Huey II training consisted of a
compressed session to work on performance power planning, limitations, and
catastrophic malfunctions. Both programs were a first-time simulator experience
on these two platforms for PAF squadrons.
The DynaLantic Cobra Flight Simulator is the only US Army 2B33 flight training
device operating worldwide It was relocated in 2007 to Ozark after it was
decommissioned by the Fort Indiantown Gap Army National Guard. Several
enhancements have been completed by DLC over the years. These enhancements
allow for continuous operation of the device with modern Commercial-of-the-
Shelf (COTS) computer hardware to facilitate maintenance and improve reliability.
This provides a cost-effective training solution for the few foreign nations that
still maintain the legendary “Cobra” helicopter in operation.
The DynaLantic Huey II Flight Simulator has a cockpit configuration in
accordance with the Bell Huey II Technical Manual (PUB-92- 004-10) and
incorporates a blade element rotor model and the T53-L- 703 Huey II power plant
simulation. The aerodynamics, rotor, and propulsion math models execute at
120 Hz., providing the most accurate Huey II engine, rotor, and flight model
available.
Aviation Enterprises Inc. (an Iren Dornier Company) is a Clark, Philippines-based
company that provides fixed and rotary wing spares support in the Clark Special
Economic Zone near Manila. Its sister companies, SEAIR International Inc., offers
airfreight charter operations utilizing 737 freighters, and the Clark based and
growing Dornier Technology Inc., provides for maintenance repair (MRO) services
specializing in ATR 42/72 and Airbus 320 aircraft. In 2021 AEI and DLC
successfully established a long-term partnership to offer the Philippine Air Force
a Simulator & Flight Training Program for the AH-1F Cobra, S-70i Blackhawk
commercial variant, UH-1H Huey II, and MD-520 Defender Helicopters. In 2007,
AEI brought in and began operating the Philippines’ most advanced air to ground
fighter, the Dassault Dornier Alpha Jet which still is still maintained and operated
today in Clark. In 2009, AEI launched the Iren Dornier Aircraft Inc., and sent 6
engineers to train for 14 months to build the first Dornier S-Ray007 aircraft, built
in Germany by Filipinos. The second and subsequent aircraft were built in the
Philippines in the Clark location. The variants of the S-Ray allow for Drone
conversions and other military reconnaissance solutions.

About
About CATI Training Systems
CATI is headquartered in Ozark, AL, and was initially incorporated in 1992 as Carmel
Applied Technologies, Inc. CATI entered the competitive visual system providers
market in 1997 with an OpenGL
™ Silicon Graphics (SGI) based image generator,
X–IG
®. CATI Training Systems continues to provide engineering services and
products for government, commercial, and civilian organizations around the
world.
Today, CATI′s image generator solutions and UAS Training devices are all PC–
based. CATI′s image generators are specifically designed around industry standard
OpenGL
™, a high-performance graphics Application Programming
Interface (API), and OpenFlight
™, the 3D standard format for the visual simulation
industry.
The open design of X–IG
® and X–Gen
®, run on 100% Commercial-Off the
Shelf (COTS) PC–based hardware and software. This allows us to offer high-performance,
versatile capabilities for various types of training, testing, and
experimentation. X-IG
® and its suite of associated tools and programs offer
superior image fidelity, realism, and ease of integration with most simulation
systems.
Every system CATI delivers provides unmatched ease of use, open architecture,
COTS tools, and flexible interface options as well as low acquisition, overhead,
and life cycle support costs.
